Free Courses
Throughout the year we look to run courses that help people understand about and grow in the Christian faith. Usually on a Monday evening these are available to anyone to join, not just those who are Engine House. There may be a small charge for manuals on some of these courses but for any who cannot afford we offer them free.
Autumn
In the autumn term we run the Alpha course, which is widely known and has been attended by over 25 million people worldwide. This is a very well produced video and group discussion programme which seeks to introduce the main aspects of understanding Christianity, allowing time for people to chat about how they feel without any pressure.
Spring
In the spring term we run what is called the Bible course, again a video in group discussion format, seeks to give an overview of how the bible with its 66 separate books fits together as one united whole, giving a great foundational understanding of this most important of Books.
Summer
In the summer term we run what is known as the Freedom Course hosted by the local YWAM (Youth With a Mission) team. This course seeks to go a little deeper in helping people understand and apply the wonderful truths of gods love leading to Freedom for each person who put their faith in Jesus Christ.
